Plastic/Acrylic is very suitability for body jewellery. The human body tolerates acrylics exeptionally well.Acrylic jewellery should be frequently cleaned. In extremely rare cases of sensitisation, remove and replace the jewellery. Keep in mind that plastic jewelry is NOT as durable as metal jewelry. If you change the top often or take the jewelry in and out often, the rlabret can become too stretched and the top does not fit as well anymore.
