Semi Permanent Hair Color

Is it hot in here or is it just you?! Sunset Orange is a fiery, deep red-orange that turns out well on a more medium blonde! Brassy tones won’t cause any problems for this color. Since it’s primarily red-based, the red undertones of Sunset Orange may come through more strongly on hair that is more of a light blonde, around a level 9 or lighter.

Arctic Fox Semi-permanent hair color is completely free of alcohol, peroxide and ammonia. Now you can achieve amazing color and shine without having to expose your hair and scalp to these chemicals.

How long does Arctic Fox hair dye last? Arctic Fox is a semi-permanent hair color, on average the color usually lasts between 4-8 weeks on bleached hair and about 2-6 weeks on unbleached hair. AF has formulated the color to be one of the longest lasting semi-permanent colors available, but for best results you need to take care of your color. The result can depend on various factors such as the shade you use, the level of your hair and your personal hair care routine.

Use: Shampoo the hair and dry. Hair should be clean without additional conditioning. Apply petroleum jelly around the hairline to prevent staining. Use protective gloves. Prepare all hair dyes used in bowls. Apply the paint evenly and in small sections with a brush. Leave the color on for at least 30 minutes, for best results cover the hair in a plastic cap and treat with heat/dry for up to 15 minutes. Rinse hair away from face in COLD water. Style your hair however you like, pose, take a picture and post for us to see!

Allergy test
All colors are very gentle and gentle on skin and hair, but just to be safe, it might be good to start by doing an allergy test. Select a small area behind the ear or in the crease of the arm that you carefully wash clean and then dry. Then apply a thin layer of the tint to the test area. Let the color dry on the skin and leave it on for a day. If you notice any kind of irritation on the skin, we recommend that you wash off the color immediately and do not use the toning on your hair.

Sling test
If you are not sure whether you will be satisfied with the result or not, you can start by only dyeing a strand in the lower hair before dyeing the whole hair.

To bleach your hair or not?
If you want the result to be as similar to the color on the bottle as possible, you should bleach your hair before tinting it. After you have bleached your hair, it is very important that you rinse your hair thoroughly otherwise there is a risk that the tinting will not adhere properly. Do not use conditioner after you have bleached, this means that the toning does not adhere as well.
