Steam sterilization indicator strip. The test changes color from yellow to dark brown/black, provided the process is complete. If any type of error occurs during the sterilization process, it is easily revealed by the strip. The test strip is placed inside an autoclave pouch; the pouch is sealed and placed in the autoclave along with the other items to be sterilized. Once the process is complete, the color of the strip is checked.
