INK REBEL was founded in 2022 with the belief that temporary tattoos can leave a lasting impression. They want every person to have the opportunity to express themselves, even if it only feels right for a short period and not for the rest of their lives.
Ink Rebel's temporary tattoos are completely natural and based on an extract from the Genipa flower that grows in South America. Tattoos from Ink Rebel do not contain henna, but instead are made from natural ingredients that react with the skin's outermost layer. A henna tattoo often contains chemicals that can cause allergic reactions.
The tattoo is made from a natural plant extract that reacts with the outermost layer of the skin, the epidermis, and colors the skin black or dark blue. A traditional tattoo is placed in the second layer of the skin, the dermis, and therefore becomes permanent. Since an Ink Rebel tattoo only settles into the epidermis, the skin is renewed naturally after about two weeks.
