Tattoos from Ink Rebel do not contain henna, but are instead made from natural ingredients that react with the very outermost layer of the skin. A henna tattoo often contains chemicals that can cause allergic reactions.
The tattoo is made from a natural plant extract that reacts with the very outermost layer of the skin, the epidermis, and colors the skin black or dark blue. A traditional tattoo, settles in the second layer of the skin, the dermis, and is therefore permanent. Since an Ink Rebel tattoo only settles in the epidermis, the skin renews itself naturally after about two weeks.
